Frozen | MN Macro Photography

Winter months are long and cold, so why not make the most of it! I bundled up and headed outside in the subzero temperatures to do a little experiment with frozen bubbles. It was actually very neat to watch the bubbles freeze into crystal like balls. Yet they were so fragile the slightest wind or touch would break and crumble the frozen bubble. It was much harder than I thought it would be as most of the bubbles would freeze in mid air and disintegrate into dusty snow, while the others would pop when landing on the surface. After a few attempts and lots of patience I was able to get my shot. A few landed in the snow while a couple others landed on my jacket, both giving a beautiful and interesting backdrop.

It may have been freezing cold outside but it was worth putting up with the cold to get these amazingly magical images! I hope you enjoy 🙂
